El Yucateco (Yucateco Salsas y Condimentos) started as a small family business in Yucatán, Mexico in the ‘60s, specialising in fiery homemade habanero pepper sauces.

Their delicious hot sauces have since become world famous condiments loved by chili fans across the globe. Using fresh annatto and habanero from their own chilli fields, El Yucateco’s spicy sauces are a fire-roasted boost to any meals.

From their range of sauces and condiments, one that’s particularly interesting is the Kutbilik Exxxtra Hot Habanero (that’s right - three ‘x’-es, this sauce means business). Salvaging an ancient recipe from the culinary traditions of the Mayan civilization, the name ‘Kutbil-Ik’ means ‘crushed chili’. This special edition sauce ranked 1st in Fiery Foods Magazine in USA.
